After a short unsuccessful meeting in Makati this afternoon, I decided to release my frustration by watching 'Ang Pagdadalaga ni Maximo Oliveros'. I've been seeing the music video of it before the sign off of channel 2 every midnight so I thought it was a funny film on how a young boy evolved into a young gay, iba pala story, hehe.
I haven't read any reviews about that film, all I know is that this is not a typical homo film with flesh flashing or a torrid m2m sex scene.
Medyo nababagalan ako sa story pati di ako nagagalingan sa pag arte ni Maximo. Para kasing pilit yung arte nya para bang hinog sa pilit. Cute sana yung pulis kaya lang nung may close up scene kung saan hinawakan ni maxi yung scar nya sa pisngi e medyo mahaba yung buhok sa ilong kaya nakaka-turn off hehehe.
One thing good about the movie e di na kailangan pang magtago ni Maxi sa closet kasi tanggap na sya ng tatay pati mga kapatid nya. Torn between his love and family lang ang dilemma ni Maxi and in the end ang pinili nya e...(oooopsss. spoiler!-panuorin nyo na lang kaya hehe).
Meron isang scene dun na sasakit tyan nyo kakatawa...when they impersonate the candidates in a beauty contest with matching national costume, talent portion & interview. hehe.
